What do I get for it?
You get a DNA analysis, a personalized DNA report, the DNA test + 4 personalized products based on your DNA and lifestyle. Also, if necessary, an intake or follow-up Nomige consultation with Dr. Barbara Geusens. Along with your 4 tubes comes a marble tray in which to place them.
Why do I get four products?
The Nomige package consists of 4 products to guarantee a complete treatment; All products have a specific effect due to the ingredients they contain, guaranteeing a complete treatment. The serum and cream are used both during the day and at night as they are best achieved through individual use. Applying the products over time allows your skin to process them better. Compare this to your diet; you also eat varied during the day instead of 1 large extensive meal in the morning.
How does the ordering process work?
The process consists of two steps; 1. You place your order and complete the Lifestyle Test online. After 1-2 working days you will receive your DNA kit at home.2. You follow the instructions, collect your saliva and send it back. From that moment on we do all the work: your DNA is analyzed and your product package is made and sent to you. Generally, it takes up to four weeks from the time we receive your saliva sample.* Delivery takes 3-5 business days when shipping overseas.
How long does my order take?

How do I send my DNA kit back to you?
You will find a prepaid return label in your DNA kit where you can find all the instructions. Close your DNA kit after saliva collection and use the return label to send your sample back to us.
I have lost my gift card. What now?
1. Contact us by mail or phone and tell us who gave you the gift card or - 2. Contact the person who gave you the gift card. They will have received an email with the code. Ask for the email with the subject 'Nomige gift card'.
Can I give the Nomige Package as a gift?
You can gift The Nomige package to someone. Since the Nomige products are personalised, the recipient will still have to provide us with their details.
My marble pedestal is broken. Can I purchase this again?

How much does it cost to order Nomige products?
When you have finished your products after 3-4 months, you can order them individually on your personal account (log in).Day serum: Day cream: Night cream: Night serum: When you order products, the total price will be lower than the price of the full Nomige package (4 products + DNA test). The DNA test is no longer needed and therefore will not be loaded. If you order all 4 products at once, you will receive a total discount of 10%.

DNA
How long do I have to wait for my results?
On average, you will receive your DNA results 2-3 weeks after we receive your DNA sample. We will send the DNA report by email. From that moment on you can always consult your results in your personal account on the website.
Will my DNA change?
Your DNA doesn't change, just like the color of your eyes doesn't change. Your lifestyle can change, and this is what we evaluate when you take the lifestyle test.
Do I need to test my DNA again?
No, your DNA remains unchanged throughout your life. So you don't have to do the test again.
Can you detect skin allergies from my DNA?
No, a DNA test cannot detect specific skin allergies. You can do this by taking a patch test, as this is a test that examines immune responses. What we can do is investigate if you have a higher risk of sensitive skin or similar cases because we look at markers involved in the structure of the skin's structure. Your products can be adjusted accordingly.
To what extent is skin aging determined by genetics and lifestyle?
Both are inextricably linked. The extent to which these factors have an adverse effect on your skin aging process is also determined by your DNA. You sometimes hear the phrase "that person has good genes" when someone looks good for her/his age. If you carry 'good genes', your DNA has fewer errors. It can, as it were, form a 'buffer' against external stressors (such as lifestyle factors). This means that the risk of skin aging is lower compared to anyone else. Note: This is of course provided there is no exaggeration. Even if your 'good genes' smoke every day, for example, it will affect your skin. Excess damage.... always! The opposite is also true: when you carry genetic defects, so-called 'mutations', you have a greater risk of accelerating skin aging because your skin is not as resistant to external stressors. If we had to put a number on it, it would be 60%-40%, although there is still a debate. The extent to which your lifestyle is decisive is also age-related.
Which genetic factors are being studied and how do they affect the skin?
The factors I have chosen on a genetic level can be divided into 4 major biological processes; properties that characterize healthy skin; ✓ hydration; ✓ Antioxidant capacity; ✓Elasticity and wrinkles; ✓ intact skin barrierWithin each biological process, we investigate the genes that contribute to and are responsible for these elements (eg the genes that are important in the hydration process). We then examine whether or not these genes have defects. If so, you carry a higher risk. It is up to the Nomige products to adjust these defects through specific ingredients.
PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
When will I see results?
The first results can be expected as soon as 3 weeks, but continue to improve. After 2 months you will already notice a firm structure, softer skin, less roughness, more even complexion, fresher look, less wrinkles (mainly around the eyes and mouth), ... Your skin will not become lazy and therefore you will continue to see the effect of the products feel on your skin.
Do the products stop after a while?
No, the selected ingredients continue to stimulate your skin. Your skin does not become lazy or dependent on the products, because we do not interfere with your skin processes. We encourage and/or support them where necessary.
Which ingredients does Nomige use?
Nomige uses a range of ingredients with proven efficacy. We work with anti-oxidants, peptides, skunmicking ingredients, ... all of which are tested in clinical studies. All our ingredients are also safe and approved by the EU.
Which sun filters do the products contain?
Your lifestyle cream (= day cream) contains organic UvA and UVB Sunfilters with minimal protection (SPF15) for every day. During the summer, your skin needs more protection. You can reapply your day cream or use an extra sunscreen on top of your day cream. We hope to switch to mineral sun filters (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide) soon, these products are in full development.
What is the expiration date of the products?
Your Nomige products can be stored in a dry and cool place, unopened, for at least 1 year.
What is the difference between personalization and customization?
Nomige is all about personalization, which is a step beyond customization. This means that nomige's products are completely tailored to your needs and we do everything we can to get your skin in the best shape. We really go the extra mile for you and we guide you along the way by offering free virtual consultations.
PRODUCTS
How do I collect my DNA?
After purchasing the exclusive nom package you will receive a DNA test. You will collect your saliva following the instructions below (instructions will be provided with your DNA kit): - Step 1: Avoid eating, drinking, smoking and brushing your teeth for at least 30 minutes before the start of the test. Wash hands thoroughly before starting the test.- Step 2: Twist and pull open the sterile tube. Be careful not to touch the tip of the swab with your fingers. Also avoid contact with other objects to prevent contamination.- Step 3: Collect your saliva by firmly twisting the tip of the cotton swab against the inside of your cheek for 1 minute. Then repeat this process on the other side. - Step 4: Immediately after collecting the saliva, place the Swab in the tube and make sure you hear a click. - Step 5: Place the tube back in the box and close it off. Use the Prepaid label to return your DNA kit.
How should I store my saliva sample?
Tighten the tube cap until you hear a click and just store it at room temperature.
How long can I keep the saliva sample?
Once the tube has clicked properly (with an audible click) you can store the sample for several months.
When should I clean my skin best?
Cleaning once a day in the evening is more than sufficient. Evening cleansing is very important because your skin comes into contact with pollution, UV rays, dirt, etc. during the day. Keep in mind that too much cleansing is not good for your skin. It can damage your protective layer and skin microbiome (the good bacteria that live on your skin). So cleaning your face once a day (in the evening) is enough.
How should I use my exfoliating tonic?
Use a damp cotton pad where you apply 2 to 3 pumps of your exfoliating tonic. This way your cotton pad will absorb less product and more of the tonic will be smeared onto your face. The amount of the active substances will also not be reduced by the addition of the water, so you do not have to worry about dilution effects.
Can I use Nomige in combination with vitamin A?
You can perfectly combine the vitamin A with Nomige. You can also choose to use vitamin A in only 1 specific area (for example, around your mouth). Use the Nomige evening products as described in the rolls and apply vitamin A as the last step. You can also "take a break". Vitamin A can deplete the skin, especially when you are in its highest concentration. It is therefore not unwise to stop for a while and only use nome. For example, start using vitamin A in November as a remedy, for 3-4 months in winter. This can be perfectly combined with nomige (as described above). After this healing, you can stop taking vitamin A until it clears up again.
If I choose a tinted day cream, do I need to apply an extra base?
No, that is not necessary. The purpose of the tinted day cream is to give your skin a more even complexion and can therefore replace your foundation.
Do I immediately start with all 4 products?
If you have sensitive skin, we recommend building up your routine slowly. We choose ingredients that should not provoke a reaction. Unfortunately, we are never 100% sure that this will not happen. If you have sensitive skin, we can guide you and give you a schedule to follow.
My skin still feels dry, what should I do?
It takes some time for your skin to adjust to the new products. Your previous products probably worked differently, so your skin needs to get used to it. You can always apply a second pump or second layer if it feels more comfortable, or gradually reduce the amount. TIP: Mix DAY CREAM with ½ pump of hydration booster (night serum) or contact us if you have any concerns.
I am experiencing some bumps when I start using Nomige.
Don't panic. Your skin adapts to the new products. When you switch from rich, oily creams to numbs, your skin needs to 'detox' first. All toxins come out first, which can result in some bumps. This is a normal and natural reaction, but if you have any concerns please contact us. If necessary, we can always reformulate the products.
SKIN
Is Nomige also for men?
Yes absolutely! Granted, the packaging and pink colors might be a bit distracting, but the nomige works just as well for men.
What do you use for or against large pores?
Large pores are related to a number of things: - your skin structure changes (for example with aging) and loses its firmness, making the pores more visible - Genetic: you may have always had large pores and this is how your skin is structured - impurities: the more impurities, the more visible the pores. The sebum and dirt remain in it and this makes it more visible. A pore is not a muscle and therefore cannot be 'closed'. Don't trust products that claim to do that. Make sure your skin is thoroughly cleansed, so the pore will be less visible. By working with skin lasers on skin structure you can get an improvement. Ointments and cleansing allow you to work only on the impurities and the optical effect.
I have allergic skin. Is nome the solution?
While we strive to develop formulas suitable for sensitive and allergic skin, it is not possible to offer a 100% guarantee. There are so many different allergens that it is almost impossible to take all of them into account. You can deduce from your DNA whether you are at risk for a (hyper)sensitivity, but it is not possible to determine which substances you react to or not.
I have a skin disease. Can Nomige derive that from my DNA?
No. Nomige analyzes genes that play a role in the skin aging process. We do not make diagnoses or provide therapeutic treatments. For the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, chronic acne, we advise you to contact a dermatologist.

What does the name Nomige mean?
The word Nomige is a phonetic game (a Verlan) that carries the syllables of 'genome'. Your genome is synonymous with your DNA, the DNA that serves as the basis for the products. And the logo is a stylized fingerprint that looks like a maze at the same time, symbolizing the search for the right product.
How did the idea of Nomige come about?
The idea arose on the one hand from a personal frustration, but also from an observation of a science. Personally I thought it is a long and difficult felling business looking for the right product. There are so many different brands and so many promises, I didn't know what or who to believe. Now I trust my DNA; It does not lie and is objective. It's also scientifically proven that every skin is unique, so why fall back on that arbitrary classification cation of oily, dry or combination skin?
Why is Nomige more expensive than other brands?
The Nomige package is tailor-made. You will receive 4 personalized products based on your DNA and lifestyle. These products will last 3 to 4 months. The cost of the DNA analysis is included in the price. You only need to do this analysis once.

Are the products tested on animals?
No, our products are not tested on animals.
Why does Nomige have a 2-step cleaning routine?
The first step consists of a milky cleanser to remove makeup and dirt. The 2-in-1 cleanser can be used with or without water (on a cotton pad). The second step consists of an exfoliating tonic that removes dead skin cells. This mild enzymatic peel is suitable for all skin types and should be applied using a wet cotton pad.
Why shouldn't I clean my face in the morning?
If you clean properly at night, it won't get dirty. Wash your face with lukewarm/warm water, this will open up your pores and allow you to clean more thoroughly. If your cotton colors 'brown' in the morning, it is basically no more than oxidation of certain substances in your night cream. Oxidation is what you see when you leave an apple exposed to the air. It's inevitable, but you shouldn't see this as "dirty".
Is Nomige organic / vegan?
We are not purely organic or vegan. We use a variety of evidence-based ingredients, including natural ingredients. e.g. sunflower oil, daisy extract. But we are not vegan or organic.
Why does Nomige not have an eye cream?
Nomige does not have a separate eye cream. This is not necessary. All Nomige products are formulated so that they can be tolerated around the eyes. And if they're good for the delicate eye area, they'll definitely be good for the rest of your face. In addition, the ingredients in our products also promote microcirculation around the eyes and act on bags and dark circles.
Why does my skin feel tight?
It always takes a while before your skin wants new products. Not all products moisturize in the same way and some products make your skin "lazy". If you have used such products in the past, your skin will take some time to adjust. Because our products work differently. Here are some tips: - You can mix your previous product (if you have some leftovers) with a half pump of nomige for a few days or weeks. Fifty fifty. After a while you can skip the addition of other products and just use Nomige. - You can also add half a pump of your night serum to your day cream for extra hydration, as your night cream is a hydration booster. After a while you can stop adding the night serum.
My eyes water, is this normal?
It is possible that your eyes water a little. If you already have sensitive eyes, they can easily react to the sun filters in the day cream. TIP: Do not apply your day cream close to your eyes. If the problem doesn't seem to go away - please contact us.

What are the cancellation policy at the skin center?
1. General These general terms and conditions apply to every treatment, offer and transaction between Beauty Salon [name] and the customer, unless the parties have expressly and in writing deviated from these general terms and conditions.
2. Obligations of the beauty salon
1. The beauty salon guarantees that the treatments carried out meet the requirements of good and careful craftsmanship. Solid materials and products are used.
2. The beauty salon will inform the customer of the nature and extent of the treatment, the expected results and any risks of the treatment.
3. The beauty salon will inform the customer as much as reasonably possible about the financial consequences of the change or addition to the treatment.
4. The beauty salon will ask the customer to provide the correct information necessary to properly carry out the treatment.
5. The beauty salon does not perform treatments that fall outside its professional competencies.
3. Customer Obligations
1. The customer must provide the beauty salon with all information that is reasonably necessary for the proper execution of the treatment.
2. The customer must inform the beauty salon of any specific wishes before concluding the agreement.
4. Payment
1. The beauty salon lists the prices of all treatments and products visible on the website and in the salon.
2. The prices stated include VAT.
3. Offers are valid for the stated duration and/or while supplies last.
4. The customer must pay for the treatment and the purchase of any products in cash immediately after the treatment. Cash payment also includes crediting the amount due to the beauty salon's account at the time of purchase via a recognized form of electronic payment.
5. Cancellation Policy
1. If the customer is unable to attend, the appointment must be canceled as soon as possible, but in any case 24 hours in advance of the appointment.
2. If the customer does not cancel the appointment 24 hours before the appointment, the beauty salon may charge the customer the full amount for the agreed treatment.
3. If the customer arrives more than 15 minutes late, the beauty salon may cancel the appointment and still charge the customer the full amount for the agreed treatment.
4. In the event of force majeure, both parties do not have to comply with the obligations in Articles 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3. Force majeure consists of what the law says about this.
6. Warranty conditions
1. The beauty salon offers the customer a 7-day warranty on the treatment and/or products.
2. This warranty does not apply if:
o The customer has used products other than those recommended by the beauty salon. o The customer has not followed the advice about the aftercare of the treatment.
o The customer has not used the products according to the beauty salon's advice.
o The customer has not used the recommended products according to the instructions for use.
7. Complaints handling
1. If the customer has a complaint about the treatment or a product, this must be reported to the beauty salon in writing by e-mail and by telephone as soon as possible, but at least within 5 working days after discovery.
2. The beauty salon must provide an appropriate response to the complaint within 5 working days.
3. If a complaint is justified, the beauty salon will carry out the treatment again as agreed. If the customer believes this is pointless, the customer must make this known in writing.
4. If the beauty salon and the customer cannot reach an agreement, the customer can submit the complaint to the legislator or a mediator.
8. Damage & theft
1. If the customer damages furniture, equipment or products in the beauty salon, the beauty salon has the right to demand compensation from the customer.
2. Theft is always reported immediately by the beauty salon to the police.
9. Proper behavior The customer must behave in the beauty salon according to generally acceptable standards. If the customer continues to show an unheard amount even after several warnings, the beauty salon has the right to refuse the customer access to the beauty salon without giving any reason.
10. Law Belgian law applies to every agreement between Schoonheidssalon [name] and the customer. In the case of an explanation of the content and scope of these general terms and conditions, the Dutch text is always decisive. The applicable version is always the most recently filed version or the version that was in force when the agreement was concluded.
